We believe that it is important to manage expectations from the beginning of the project. That is why we like to start with the big questions and then work our way through the small ones from there.
Craftsmanship

You don’t necessarily have to choose between efficiency and budget.
These days many people are concerned about the efficiency of their homes and rightfully so. With the extremes we face in our cold climate, extra attention needs to go into the small details. We believe that if a little extra attention is paid to the smallest details you will be way better off in the long run.
Building Design
We believe a building should not only be built well. But should also be aesthetically pleasing. They should not be built in such a way that future generations beg to save them from the wrecking ball because of their inherent beauty. Whether it be simplicity in design or over the top.
While we may have different taste than some of our customers. And some may have more concern over functionality than appearance. We think that those two things are not mutually exclusive. That is where we value working with customers throughout the design process. The earlier we start the better the project can go.
Building Science
We believe that continual education and understanding the latest innovations in science and technology on the market is extremely important. While we like looking into the new and latest improvements and technologies. Sometimes we will direct people to the historic, to technologies and materials that may seem new in concept but have been time tested and proven over decades and centuries past. Many times the problems we encounter today were already solved in the past. It is important to have a broad knowledge and understanding in this. Ultimately we want our customers to have a durable and long lasting home. A major part of this is for it to be made of materials that have a proven record of performance and longevity.
